Yesterday’s (4-29-09) workout, stamina/work capacity

I’ve been kind of remiss in posting my training logs lately, and have been climbing a LOT, but find that’s not nearly as interesting to most of my readers. Anyway, the one yesterday was FUN.
It was a mtn athlete workout intended to take 90 minutes. I scaled it down slightly, since I want to climb productively today.
It represented 60 minutes of work, average HR was around 170 for the 60+ minutes.
(1) 10 rounds:
20x Bodyweight squats
5x Man Maker Burpies with 2×30lbs DB (Man Maker Burpie = 1 push up on DBs, 1 row on each side, stand up, clean dbs, overhead shoulder press)
10x DC special (hanging leg lifts to side, 5 each side)
(2) 10 rounds
10x Deadlifts at 116lbs
5x 1-arm KB clean and press at 16KB (5 each side)
10x Jingle Janles
5x Push Ups
30 seconds rest
(3) 3 rounds:
50x Step ups with 25lbs pack
30seconds plank walk
5x slasher (each side) with 16KG KB
20x sit ups.
Today I feel surprisingly good.
I’m really enjoying climbing, and have been making really good gains, but I do miss the time pushing things in the gym more.
