Workouts for the last week (and them some).

That’s all for now folks. I’m focusing more on quality work in the climbing than quantity lately. As a result my workout calendar looks a bit sparse, and I feel a but lazy because I’m not constantly beaten down, sore and bordering on over training. I know this is the best approach for me, but it’s tough not to want to push all the time.

Tuesday and Wednesday (climbing & power endurance work)

This is my first time doing so much climbing specific cross training – I’m eager to see how it’ll pan out. Reading various training books you get very varied opinions on how effective fingerboard, campus boards and the like are, as compared to just working on the movement itself through climbing.

Today I did this little power endurance gem It’s another adopted mountain athlete mostly adopted because I didn’t have a rope to climb handy, and didn’t bring my sandbags or a backpack to the gym.
