Monday 02-16-09, strength/ power-endurance work

I attempted to do some strength work today, despite the work capacity workout yesterday. I also had only had a handful of carbs all day, and ended up feeling it when I did this one. I felt horrible during this workout, enough to scale the volume way down (nearly in half) from what I had intended.
I went home and had pork loin, apples and yams done in the slow cooker. I felt much better after the carb fest, which appears to validate my theory that I was glycogen depleted before.
Warm Up:
Ten Minutes of sandbag turkish get ups. (35lbs sandbag)
Then:
(1) 3 rounds of:
20m walking dumbell lunge with 50lbs dbs.
30 seconds jingle jangles (5m side to side sprints)
15x swings at 65lbs
(2) 5 rounds of:
5x Mr.Spectacular at 2×45lbs
7 Ankle-to-bar
10 back extensions
(3) 1 round
2x Calf Raise Tabata
6 shoulder dislocates
6 overhead squats
- Walking lunges hurt
